Position Overview:

As a Client Support Coordinator, you will assist client/business advisors in preparing adult job seekers for successful employment transitions. Your role will involve conducting employability workshops and facilitating job search sessions, both individually and in groups, while collaborating with the business team to identify suitable candidates for various job openings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver preliminary information to target demographics regarding our services and employment support programs through one-on-one consultations and introductory workshops, as well as participating in job fairs and outreach initiatives.

- Encourage and assist clients in their job search efforts by providing guidance on job vacancies, interview preparation, and pre-employment training as needed.

- Offer personalized and group support in crafting and updating CVs, including uploading them to job search platforms, completing application forms, and mastering interview techniques.

- Coordinate employment interviews and referrals for pre-employment training to help individuals enhance their skills and secure job opportunities.

- Manage company job vacancies by ensuring timely postings, monitoring application deadlines, and accurately tracking CV submissions and shortlists, while liaising with colleagues and partner organizations to facilitate candidate submissions and provide constructive feedback to optimize recruitment efforts.

- Maintain and update client records following initial interviews, ensuring the database is current and informing client advisors of any changes.

- Collaborate with colleagues to stay informed about available opportunities and make appropriate referrals.

Essential Experience and Qualifications:

- Experience in a recruitment or career advisory setting, assisting individuals in achieving their employment objectives through personalized action plans.

- Proficiency in ICT tools, with a solid understanding of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, alongside the ability to navigate databases effectively.

- Awareness of the challenges individuals face in accessing employment and the barriers that may hinder their progress.
