Job Title: Defence Security Controller

Location: Yateley, Hampshire (Hybrid)

Salary: £40k - £65k DOE

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Defence Security Controller to join our team at Sanderson Government & Defence. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for maintaining facility security clearance, overseeing audits, managing security policies, and ensuring compliance with MoD requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain facility security clearance and ensure all necessary procedures are in place.
  2. Oversee audits to ensure compliance with MoD requirements and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Manage security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of our facilities.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure all security-related tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  1. Experience managing BPSS/SC clearance processes, including reference checks and verifying right to work.
  2. Experience liaising with UK Security Vetting and handling personnel clearance and exit processes.
  3. Experience of performing audits and identifying areas for improvement.
  4. Proactive with the ability to identify process improvements and implement changes.
