About the Role

Exponential-e is seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to our customers and internal departments, delivering solutions, services, and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-sales support to sales teams and other departments
  • Respond to customer quote requests and complete them to a high level of technical detail
  • Contribute to internal IT projects and support
  • Design solutions to fulfill customer requirements
  • Build and implement technical solutions
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal staff
  • Maintain opportunity pipeline and deal positions within our CRM
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and prospects

Requirements

  • Strong technical skills in networking, cloud, and cyber security areas
  • Experience with products such as firewalls, routers, switches, wireless, and SDN/NMS products from Juniper Networks, Cisco, Palo Alto, and SonicWall
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, and Office 365
  • Experience with Hyper-V and VMWare vSphere
  • Ability to produce quotations and input on responses to tenders, RFI's, RFPs, and other response formats
  • CCNP/JNCIP or equivalent
  • Ability to collect and understand client requirements and design technical solutions based on those
  • Strong technical and commercial understanding of key product propositions
  • Ability to formulate and complete client presentations to an exceptional standard
  • Extensive experience in the cloud, networking, and network security sectors
  • Strong understanding of technology application in the network, cloud, cyber security, and software-defined arenas
  • Ability to demonstrate strong commercial understanding and business acumen
  • Proven and consistent track record of target over-achievement
  • Excellent networking ability and natural communication style
  • Excellent communicator with strong presentation, numeracy, and written skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities; able to facilitate discussions and outcomes
  • Ability to travel as required
  • CRM experience advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to understand and write Python or JSON
  • Degree-level education advantageous, but track record of success in an aligned career of higher importance
  • The successful applicant will be required to hold or attain Government Security Clearance after commencing the role
