About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Domestic Support Professional to join our team at Summerhill Services Limited. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our designated area/service.

Job Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a customer-focused environment and be able to work effectively as part of a team. The successful applicant will be responsible for:
• Maintaining effective cleaning and maintenance of all hygiene standards within a designated area/service and all of its facilities
• Utilizing safely mechanical and electrical cleaning equipment following appropriate training as required
• Collecting and safely removing paper waste within your area/service of work
• Providing pantry/kitchen duties including clearing of the dining area and washing up as required
• Providing specialist cleaning (barrier/isolation) as required
• Responsible for the safe storage and maintenance of appropriate stock and supplies and to ensure that these are available within the designated area/service

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with a range of people including patients and staff. You should also be able to complete necessary paperwork as instructed to Trust requirements and standards.

• Able to follow work schedules with minimal day-to-day supervision after Initial training
• Able to use a variety of cleaning machines
• Able to move light furniture as part of cleaning duties
