The Role
As a Dealer Oversight Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our dealer network. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough due diligence on dealers, assessing their compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, identifying areas for improvement, and providing feedback to management and departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough due diligence on dealers, including reviewing credit reference agency reports and FLA oversight guidelines.
- Mark dealer due diligence questionnaires and collate evidence from multiple sources to verify the quality of dealers in our network.
- Create and maintain dealer records within our dealer management systems.
- Undertake regular oversight to proactively identify areas for improvement and provide due diligence to the dealer network.
- Assess relevant reporting and deep dive into areas of concern.
- Provide feedback to management and departments identifying any development or training needs based on findings during oversight checks.
Sharing Best Practice
- As a member of our growing team, you will be responsible for ensuring that best practice and expertise are shared across the operational teams and wider business areas.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in the motor finance industry, with a strong appetite for providing great customer outcomes.
- Sound analytical skillset, with the ability to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Effective communication skills, combined with the ability to communicate clearly to all staff members.
- Strong literacy and numerical skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A willingness to be developed, coached, and to take on board feedback.
- A proactive, organized, and able to manage your time effectively and take initiative.
- A positive work ethic and a can-do attitude when supporting business in change.
