This role is a fantastic chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with Emotional Behavioural Disorder and complex needs.

As a Residential Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the residential home, creating a nurturing and independent atmosphere, and equipping young individuals with essential life skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a multi-agency approach to the assessment of young people and developing effective plans for their successful move-on.
  • Representing the home to relevant individuals and organisations, ensuring positive recognition and achieving regulatory requirements.
  • Developing policies, procedures, and practices that follow regulatory requirements and enable proper oversight of management, quality, safety, and effectiveness of the service.
  • Actively promoting understanding, implementation, and compliance with agreed models of care and behaviour support programmes.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Driving Licence - essential
  • Residential experience as a registered manager
  • QCF/NVQ L5 in Children and Young People
  • Good communication skills
  • Teamwork skills
  • Ability to navigate a challenging situation
  • Post subject to enhanced DBS check
