About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our team at KBR, a global leader in science, technology, and engineering solutions. As a Category Manager, you will play a critical role in driving our supply chain strategy and delivering value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement category strategies to drive cost savings and improve procurement efficiency
  • Lead sourcing projects to identify and engage with best-in-class suppliers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Manage contracts and negotiate terms and conditions to ensure fair and transparent procurement practices
  • Provide market analysis and research to inform procurement decisions
Requirements
  • Proven experience in category management, procurement, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles, policies, and procedures
