About the Role:
This is a supervisory position within a well-established SME freight forwarder, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch. The successful candidate will have previous experience in freight forwarding and supervisory roles, with a strong understanding of customs procedures and good IT knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of 10 staff members, ensuring efficient workflow and effective management of holiday requests.
- Manage client relationships, resolving any issues that may arise and ensuring excellent customer service is delivered at all times.
- Develop and mentor staff members, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
- Work closely with the director to improve processes and procedures, ensuring the smooth operation of the branch.
- Be hands-on with shipments, dealing with VIP accounts and ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in freight forwarding and supervisory roles.
- Strong understanding of customs procedures.
- Good IT knowledge.
