**Job Description**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team at Heathlands, a purpose-built centre offering day/weekend opportunities for adults with profound and complex learning disabilities and Autism.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to customers, including administering medication and assisting with daily living tasks. They will also be required to work in a person-centred way, developing a professional working relationship with service users to determine how their care and support is delivered.

As a Learning Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to achieve outcomes in developing their independent living skills towards a meaningful and active life.

We offer a competitive salary of £27,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • To provide personal care and support to customers, including administering medication and assisting with daily living tasks.
  • To work in a person-centred way, developing a professional working relationship with service users to determine how their care and support is delivered.
  • To assist service users with a range of domestic tasks such as vacuuming, dishwashing and keeping clean food preparation areas.

**Requirements**

  • Degree in Social Care or related field (desirable).
  • Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities and/or Autism (essential).
  • Enhanced DBS check (required).
