Mechanical Engineering Technician

Salary:£43,000 - £63,000 per annum

Job Overview

This Mechanical Engineering Technician role involves working on the installation and maintenance of building services.

We require an experienced technician who can diagnose faults and carry out repairs to building services installations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work from written and verbal instruction.

You will be responsible for:

  • Installation and maintenance of building services
  • Carrying out fault diagnosis and repairs to building services installations
  • Reading technical diagrams and schematics
  • Working from written and verbal instruction
  • Troubleshooting complex issues
  • Mentoring junior employees
  • Recording work information as required
  • Collaborating with Contract and Project teams
  • Maintaining vehicle condition and adhering to health and safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in the mechanical industry
  • Full clean manual UK driving licence
  • Knowledge of suppliers associated with the supply of materials and equipment
  • Chiller experience
  • F-Gas accredited (Cat 1, 2 & 3), Cat 4 desirable
