About the Job:

This exciting opportunity allows you to develop your skills as a professional in liquid petroleum gas delivery. As a Barrel Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring safe transportation and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Daily vehicle inspections to guarantee road safety and preparedness.
  2. Foster strong customer relationships and maintain a high standard of service.
  3. Efficiently communicate with the team and adapt to shifting circumstances.
  4. Adhere to safety protocols and remain composed under pressure while driving.
  5. Make well-informed decisions and address complex issues systematically.
  6. Refuel and reload at designated supply points.
  7. Unload cargo at Flogas locations, requiring manual handling.
  8. Accurately complete all necessary documentation.
  9. Navigate long-haul routes, including overnight drives.
  10. Operate at Flogas-controlled delivery sites.
  11. Be adaptable when driving alternative vehicle types as needed.
  12. Comply with relevant transportation laws and follow company guidelines.

Essential Qualifications:

  • LGV Class 1 license with ADR in Tank certification.
  • Driver CPC.
  • Digital Tachograph Card with understanding of driving hours and regulations.
  • Experience operating articulated vehicles.
  • Prior experience with articulated tankers is beneficial.
  • Strong resilience and composure.
  • Excellent communication and flexibility.
  • Capacity to learn and adjust to new procedures.
  • Criminal Record Check (DBS).

Remuneration: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
