About the Role

At ENGINEERINGUK, we are seeking a highly motivated Senior Security Analyst to join our Vulnerability Management team. This is an exciting opportunity for a security-focused individual to contribute to our expanding organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining vulnerability scanning platforms, analysing vulnerabilities, and prioritising remediation efforts. They will also build reporting capabilities to inform stakeholders on the status and progress of VM remediation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and enhancing vulnerability scanning tools to identify and analyse vulnerabilities.
  • Taking a risk-based approach to prioritise remediation activities.
  • Developing comprehensive reports to inform stakeholders on the status and progress of VM remediation efforts.

Requirements

  • 4+ Years of experience working in the IT Security Industry.
  • Experience with responding to security incidents in large-scale corporate environments.
  • Ability to categorise criticality and risk of a vulnerability.
  • Expertise in networking, web services, and application testing.
  • Expert knowledge of DNS preventative network controls.
  • Intelligence gathering and staying up-to-date with current threats.
  • Reporting at various levels to communicate risk, compliance, and remediation activities.
