Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Robert Walters. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial value into Transport and Distribution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic revenue growth initiatives to drive business expansion in Transport and Distribution.
  • Collaborate with operational and planning stakeholders to identify opportunities for commercial growth and develop targeted revenue strategies.
  • Take ownership of opportunity management for Transport, ensuring timely and effective responses to customer inquiries and developing strategic revenue opportunities.
  • Work closely with Sales and Business Development functions to share valuable data and insights, driving business growth and revenue expansion.
Requirements:
  • Excellent technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and use commercial models for both open book and closed book across Transport and Distribution.
  • A track record in achieving business growth through identification of tactical sales opportunities within a road transport environment.
  • Experience of growing Transport revenue streams through efficiency, organic, and external opportunities.
  • Experience in digital technology relating to transport.
  • Change-oriented, able to play a key role in the transport business's end-to-end modernisation.
