Job Title: Specialist Mental Health Practitioner

About the Role:
Children and Family Health Devon (CFHD) is a leading provider of integrated care and treatment for children and young people in Devon. We are seeking an experienced Specialist Mental Health Practitioner to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to vulnerable children and young people.

Main Responsibilities:
As a Specialist Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing specialist mental health assessment and therapeutic interventions for children and young people with complex needs. You will work collaboratively with our multi-professional team to develop and implement effective models of care that improve outcomes for children and young people.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
Essential qualifications include a relevant core professional training (e.g. Nursing, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, etc.) and training in an evidence-based therapeutic approach. You will also have experience of working collaboratively with service users and their families/carers, including using goal-based care and routine outcome measures in practice.
