About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Specialist Mental Health Practitioner to support our Integrated Neurodiversity pathway. The successful candidate will have significant experience of providing specialist mental health assessments, neurodevelopmental assessments, and providing evidence-based therapies for children and young people who are neurodivergent.

Main Responsibilities

You will collaborate with children, families, and professionals to adopt a person-centred, holistic approach to care. This involves consistent monitoring of progress, adjustment of treatment plans, and participation in multidisciplinary meetings. Your expertise will contribute to complex cases, service development, and staying abreast of Neurodiversity research and advancements.

Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience of working collaboratively with service users and their families/carers, including using goal-based care and routine outcome measures in practice. They will also have experience of working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team and across agencies, and be able to work with children and young people's mental health needs, families, and parents/carers, maintaining a high degree of professionalism in the face of highly emotive and distressing problems and verbal abuse.
