We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient handling and preparation of shipments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shipment Receipt and Processing: Manage the receipt and processing of incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Stock Organization: Sort and organize stock, using a forklift to place pallets onto racks, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Order Preparation: Prepare orders for delivery, verifying accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Picking and Packing: Pick and pack smaller shipments for dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Requirements:
  • Warehouse Experience: Previous experience working in a warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Order Preparation Skills: Skilled in preparing orders for shipment, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Forklift Licence: Valid reach truck forklift licence, with a strong understanding of safety procedures.
  • Physical Fitness: Physically fit to handle the demands of the job, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Independent Work: Ability to work independently, managing tasks efficiently and effectively.
