Job Summary
John Hampden Surgery is a well-established primary care practice dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare services to our community. We are committed to creating a supportive and collaborative environment where our team can thrive and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient interviews and examinations, diagnose and manage a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions, and provide health education and promote wellness and disease prevention.
- Develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, prescribe and review medication regimens, and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Perform minor surgical procedures and other relevant clinical tasks, conduct routine check-ups and health screenings, and maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, participate in regular team meetings and case discussions, and stay updated with the latest medical research and best practices.
- Provide immediate care in medical emergencies and maintain a commitment to ethical medical practice.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid medical license and GP registration.
- Proven experience as a General Practitioner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ethical medical practice.

John Hampden Surgery is a small, friendly, village practice located in the beautiful Mid Chiltern countryside with easy access to the M40 and M1. We are a small team with a supportive and caring attitude for staff and patients alike.
Full support is provided by our existing clinicians and practice management staff in a culture where training and personal development are encouraged.
We are a democratic and supportive partnership which enjoys a good life/work balance and encourages diverse interests.
We are part of Mid Chiltern PCN and have a wide range of Enhanced Services.
We use the EMIS clinical system.
