About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in our community-centric Primary School in Mountain Ash.
Responsibilities:
- Work in the Special Resource Base to support pupils diagnosed with ALN in developing their learning and social communication skills.
- Support teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons to meet individual pupils' needs.
- Maintain accurate records of pupils' progress and provide regular feedback to teachers.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or 6 months experience working with children in an educational establishment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Experience in working one-to-one with additional learning needs.
