We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Belmont Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional advice and guidance to the environmental services team on all areas of procurement and contract management, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to achieve best value and best practice.

The ideal candidate will have a management qualification, such as a degree and postgraduate qualifications, and a CIPS qualification. They will also have experience in leading high-value, complex procurement projects and maintaining relationships with the supply chain to obtain competitive pricing and security of supply.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing professional advice and guidance to the environmental services team on all areas of procurement and contract management
  • Leading on the acquisition and disposition of goods and services, and assisting service areas in the development of specifications and conducting competitive procurement programmes
  • Ensuring cost, quality, and delivery of services on contracts is achieved to maximize value for money and continuous improvement
  • Maintaining relationships with the supply chain to obtain competitive pricing and security of supply
