We are recruiting for a Senior Consultant in Paediatric Psychiatry to join our dynamic team at the Swansea Bay University Health Board. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services to children and adolescents in the region.

About the Role

In this senior leadership position, you will be responsible for leading a clinical team and providing expert care to children and adolescents. You will also participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist care to children and adolescents
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Degree-qualified in Medicine and completion of Core Medical Training
  • Higher specialty training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Registered with the GMC and licensure to practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and cope with competing demands

Salary and Benefits

Estimated salary: £90,000 - £125,000 per annum
