Environmental, Health & Safety Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Consultant to join our expanding consultancy team at the S2 Partnership. As a key member of our team, you will provide health, safety and environmental consultancy services to our clients in the commercial property sector.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver health, safety and environmental consultancy services to clients in the commercial property sector.
  2. Conduct site-based work and provide reports and assistance to clients.
  3. Travel to sites as required, with a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  4. Work on a full or part-time basis, with a minimum of 3 or 4 days per week.

Requirements

  1. Knowledge of safety and environmental legislation in the UK relating to the built environment and property management.
  2. Qualified to degree level or equivalent in an appropriate environmental discipline.
  3. A minimum of 3 years' experience in the environmental field.
  4. Proven technical ability and good report writing, IT and communication skills.
  5. Experience in carrying out or preparing for ISO 14001 Audits.

Desirable Experience

Sustainability Assessments, Flood Risk Assessments, Pollution Incident Response Plans, Professional membership with a recognised environmental body such as IEMA or a safety body such as IOSH, Fire risk assessment.
