Teaching Assistant for SEND Students

Leader Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is a long-term contract opportunity that requires a flexible and adaptable individual who can work effectively in a classroom setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting students with complex needs on a 1:1 or small group basis.
- Working closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies for student support.
- Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly those with Autism or complex learning difficulties.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 per annum, plus additional benefits including free CPD and a refer a friend scheme.
