Job Title: Librarian / Learning Centre Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Librarian / Learning Centre Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, managing the library, online learning resources, and the Murray Centre facilities to provide an engaging educational environment for all students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the library and online learning resources to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant to the needs of our students and staff.
  • Oversee the maintenance and development of the Murray Centre facilities to ensure they are safe, accessible, and conducive to learning.
  • Work closely with teachers and staff to develop and implement effective learning strategies and resources.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the library and learning centre.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in a library or learning resource setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and visitors.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure, with a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Experience in managing budgets and resources, with a focus on delivering high-quality services.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and initiatives.
