Warehouse Operations Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at BSS Swindon branch. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our warehouse and delivery operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a small team of warehouse staff to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and implement effective warehouse management systems to ensure accurate inventory control, efficient stock management, and timely delivery of goods to customers.
- Collaborate with our logistics team to optimize delivery routes and schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to customers.
- Ensure the health and safety of all warehouse staff, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a warehouse management or logistics role, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a warehouse environment.
