About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Claranet as a Cyber Security Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing assessments against the Claranet developed Microsoft 365 Certification on behalf of Microsoft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform security assessments and provide timely communication with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to ensure continued progression through assessments.
  • Provide ongoing support to ISVs looking to start an assessment or already progressing through an assessment.
  • Liaise with Microsoft to support the delivery of the Microsoft Project.
  • Participate in ISV calls to provide Q&A support, perform remote assessment activities, and mentor associate colleagues.
  • Maintain excellent communication with customers and internal teams to support Claranet in meeting its vision.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging threats, and technological advancements to effectively address new challenges and technologies.
  • Perform Quality Assurance (QA) reviews of reports produced by the Cyber Security function's Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team.
  • Support other GRC team members in fulfilling customer consultancy and project requirements, such as ISO 27001, cyber security reviews, risk assessments, etc.
  • Assist in the development and growth of the Cyber Security function's services offerings.
  • Fulfill re-certification requirements and Continuing Professional Education (CPE) obligations.
  • Work remotely, from our Leeds office, or at customer sites as applicable, with occasional travel and out-of-hours working.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate with Customer Experience and Managed Services to provide exceptional customer service and integrate customer feedback into future portfolio and propositions.
  • Work with Customer Success and Growth to ensure the portfolio is up-to-date, meets customer needs, enables cross-selling, and provides pre-sales support.
  • Support Portfolio, Alliances & Technology Practices in embedding Cyber Practice function services into customer solutions.
  • Submit work-related expenses to Finance & Corporate Development.

About You

We are looking for a customer-facing professional who can represent Claranet confidently and professionally. You should be willing to travel to deliver onsite work as required and have the ability to identify and work with colleagues to deploy improvements to delivery processes.

Desirable Competencies

  • Experience with audit frameworks, such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, etc.
  • Exposure to Amazon's and/or Microsoft's cloud platforms.
  • GDPR, SOC 2, NIST, or other relevant experience.
  • Full UK driving license (for UK recruitment).
  • Experience managing client projects and information security consulting.
