Assistant Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Clinical Psychologist to join our Psychology Team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality psychological services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Support clinical psychologists in completing assessments and interventions with clients, staff, and carers.
- Liaise with formal and informal carers and work with multi-disciplinary colleagues to assess and support the psychological well-being of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Assist the Head of Department with case reviews, audit, and service evaluation.
- Provide specialist psychological case consultation through planned consultation clinics and informally in response to advice requests.
- Develop and implement specialist case formulations under supervision for complex cases.
- Psychology honours degree 2:1 or higher, meeting the requirements for graduate basis for Chartered Membership with the British Psychological Society.
- Experience of working with offenders or patients with mental health problems, intellectual and developmental disabilities, personality disorders, and substance misuse.
- Experience of working under the supervision of a qualified psychologist.
- Experience of completing risk assessments and psychometric testing.
- Ability to apply existing psychological knowledge to a mental health context.

- A competitive salary of £29,970 to £36,483 a year (pro rata for part-time).
