Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Residential Children's Support Specialist to join our team at Shire Healthcare. As a Residential Children's Worker, you will be working closely with children who require support due to social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. The estimated salary for this role is £25,500 - £29,000 (including sleep ins).

• Providing individualised support to children using a person-centred approach.
• Strengthening relationships between children and their loved ones.
• Helping children engage in local community activities, promoting independence and confidence.
• Ensuring children's physical and emotional needs are met.
• Reporting any concerns regarding child safety or well-being.
• Prioritising continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Liaising effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders.
