About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Lead to join our Paediatric Audiology team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our audiology services and ensuring that we deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of our Paediatric Audiology service strategy, ensuring that it aligns with the Trust's overall objectives.
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to our Paediatric Audiology team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Work closely with our clinical director and general manager to develop and implement new processes and procedures that improve patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure that our Paediatric Audiology service is integrated with other services and that we are working effectively to meet the needs of our patients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our patients, families, and carers, ensuring that they are involved in the decision-making process and that their needs are met.
Requirements
  • Degree in an appropriate scientific subject.
  • MSc in Clinical Audiology or equivalent.
  • Certificate of Audiological Competence / Higher Training Scheme (or equivalent).
  • ILM management / leadership qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience of previous clinical leadership / line management.
