About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Business Financial Analyst to join our team at Trainline. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting financial information to senior business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior business stakeholders, highlighting key variances and trends.
  2. Business Partnering: Work closely with business leaders to understand their financial needs and provide strategic financial guidance.
  3. Cost Control: Develop and maintain a solid understanding of business costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  4. Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Accountant: ACA or CIMA qualified or equivalent.
  2. Strong Financial Skills: Excellent analytical and financial skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex financial data.
  3. Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and financial management principles.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders.
