Job Description

We seek a skilled Site Fitter to join our team, focusing on installing high-quality staircases, balustrades, and other joinery items. The successful candidate will have experience in site carpentry and installing staircases, ideally with knowledge of continuous/curved balustrades. They should possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work well under pressure, and maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Install staircases, staircase furniture, and balustrades to meet customer expectations
  • Work collaboratively with your team to achieve project goals
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

We offer a competitive salary of £18.50 per hour, negotiable depending on experience, plus overtime paid at time and a half. You will also receive subsistence of £25.00 per night while staying away from home. Our benefits package includes full PPE, free parking, tea and coffee facilities, and membership on Perkbox employee rewards platform.

Requirements
  • Experience in site carpentry and installing staircases
  • Knowledge of continuous/curved balustrades (desirable)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • A clean driving licence and up-to-date vehicle
