Job Title: Head of Estates and Health

HC-One is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Estates and Health to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures that drive a culture of safety ownership throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the investigation of major incidents and dangerous occurrences, and develop action plans to facilitate organizational learning and risk control.
  • Collaborate with managers and employees to promote a positive health and safety culture across the business.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in health and safety legislation and best practices, and ensure that the organization is compliant with all relevant regulations.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH National General Certificate, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in Occupational Safety and an advanced qualification level.
  • Demonstrable senior experience in a safety subject, preferably in a busy people-focused environment with responsibility for health and safety in a multi-site environment.
  • Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a highly regulated sector, ideally within the health and social care or healthcare sector.
