Austin Fraser is excited to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their dynamic team in Plymouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the success of a well-established business.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to manage the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments.
Main Responsibilities
- Process supplier documents efficiently and accurately, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Reconcile supplier statements, resolving any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Manage purchase ledger queries, providing excellent customer service to suppliers and internal teams.
- Assist in month-end processes, including report preparation and ledger reconciliations.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and financial regulations, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in accounts payable and knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment, adhering to procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to improve processes.
