We are seeking a skilled Corporate Risk Solutions Relationship Manager to join our team at M&G plc.
About the Role:
The Corporate Risk Solutions Relationship Manager will be responsible for ensuring that transactions are executed in a sustainable and scalable manner, as well as post-execution management of selected Corporate Risk Solutions transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management of Corporate Risk Solutions transactions.
- Pre-sales support to the Corporate Risk Solutions Solutions Director in relation to operational clauses.
- Relationship Management of external Corporate Risk Solutions counterparties, including Trustees and Reinsurers, as the key point of contact for both internal and external parties.
- Responsible for the collation of all reporting data, including having overall responsibility for the quality of all external deliverables.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on challenges to assumptions and calculations.
- Development of an operating model for the operation of Reinsurance contracts, including embedding appropriate controls.
- Drive continuous improvement through innovation and the seeking out and acting on new opportunities.
- Provide management information to appropriate governance forums.
- Support the delivery of other elements of the Corporate Risk Solutions business plan.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Strong analytical or actuarial skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Financial Services & Insurance knowledge, especially around defined benefit pension de-risking, with profits, reinsurance, and investment solutions (including Defined Contribution investment solutions).
- Experience of managing a number of internal parties to ensure delivery of contractual deliverables.
- Experience of managing external counterparties.
- Passion for the customer.
- Pension Technical knowledge.
- Effective written and presentation skills.
- High degree of honesty, integrity, and discretion.
