As a Healthcare Professional working as a Functional Assessment Specialist at ADVO, you will play a crucial role in the functional and disability assessments process. You will work autonomously to assess cases of individuals applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit or a Work Capability Assessment (WCA). This will involve holding consultations and writing fair and accurate reports.
The estimated salary for this role is £41,400 per annum. Our competitive remuneration package includes annual salary reviews, cost of professional membership covered, hybrid/remote working patterns, 25 days annual leave, company sick-pay, flexible/part-time working, DWP approved training and support programme, discounts and other perks.
To succeed in this position, you will need a minimum of 12 months post-registration experience working as a Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist. You must hold full registration with one of the following professional bodies: Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

- Holding telephone, video or in-person consultations with individuals who are applying for PIP or WCA benefits.
- Assessing complex conditions and impairments using strong verbal communication skills and writing high-quality assessment reports.
- Working with your line manager to advance your professional development and career as a Functional Assessor.
