About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway Design Engineer to join our team at SYSTRA. As a Principal Highway Design Manager, you will play a key role in the delivery of highway projects, working closely with our clients and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of highway projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Manage and direct a team of engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and oversight.
  • Develop and implement design solutions that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and other documentation as required.
  • Identify and develop opportunities for business growth and development.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in highway design and project management.
  • Chartered status (ICE or CIHT) or working towards Professional Qualification.
  • Excellent knowledge of highway design principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of leading and managing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
