Job Title: Female Personal Assistant for Teenage Girl in East Ardsley

We are seeking a kind, patient, and understanding female personal assistant to support our 15-year-old daughter with complex needs. Our daughter requires assistance with personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks, and we are looking for someone who can provide a high level of care and companionship.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our daughter, including:

  • Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and using the toilet
  • Supporting with mobility and transferring using a hoist and transfer board
  • Assisting with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, shopping, and getting ready for bed/day
  • Providing companionship and social support to our daughter
  • Supporting our daughter to access her interests and hobbies both at home and in the community
Requirements

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Kind, patient, and understanding with a warm and friendly approach
  • Reliable, approachable, and an excellent communicator
  • Experienced in providing personal care and support to individuals with complex needs
  • Trained in moving and handling and able to use a hoist and transfer board
  • Available to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings
Desirable Skills

A full, clean driving license and own car would be desirable, as some hours may involve transporting our daughter to appointments and activities. Experience in gastrostomy care and tracheostomy care would also be an advantage.
