Job Title: Female Personal Assistant for Teenage Girl
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Female Personal Assistant to support our 15-year-old daughter with her daily needs. The ideal candidate will be kind, patient, and understanding, with excellent communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care and support with daily tasks such as showering, dressing, and meal preparation
- Assisting with moving and handling, including the use of transfer boards and hoists
- Supporting our daughter to access her interests and engage in social activities
- Monitoring and supporting her healthcare needs, including tracheostomy and gastrostomy care
- Encouraging her independence and confidence
Requirements:
- Experience of working with children or young adults with disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative
- Reliable and flexible with a full, clean driving license and own car
Working Hours: 6 hours per week, flexible to include some weekends and evenings. Wages: £12.40 per hour.
