Job Summary:

The Senior Temporary Works Coordinator (STWC) is a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation of temporary works management plans. As a key member of the project team, the STWC will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the temporary works process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the temporary works process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement temporary works management plans, including risk assessments and method statements.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and other team members, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor temporary works progress and identify potential risks or issues.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of temporary works activities, including documentation and reporting.
  • Ensure that all temporary works activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Educated to HND-HNC level or equivalent in a construction, railway, or related discipline.
  • Demonstrating extensive experience in projects encompassing similar temporary works schemes (type, size, complexity, and environment).
  • Have successfully completed a recognised TWC training course within the last 5 years.
  • Strong communication skills in English (oral and written).
  • Appropriate CSCS card type and level.
  • London Underground project previous experience (desirable).
  • Tunnelling project previous experience (desirable).
