Senior Temporary Works Coordinator (STWC)

At Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Temporary Works Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the implementation of the Temporary Works Management Plan.
  • Issue formal permission to dismantle temporary works and specify sequencing requirements.
  • Cooperate with employers and other persons in the performance of statutory duties.
  • Comply with contractors' H&S Policy and cooperate with contractors to prevent accidents and ill health.
  • Report damage to plant and equipment to immediate supervisors.
  • Use authorized plant and equipment and propose ways to eliminate hazards and improve safety.

Job Specific Safe Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the preparation and regular review of Project Health and Safety and Environmental Plans and procedures.
  • Ensure specific method statements with risk assessments for each activity and aspect of work.
  • Ensure Temporary Works team members are conversant with policies, plans, and procedures.
  • Arrange for team members to receive adequate training in health, safety, and environmental matters.

Requirements:

  • Educated to HND-HNC level or equivalent in a construction, railway, or related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in projects with similar temporary works schemes.
  • Successful completion of a recognized TWC training course within the last 5 years.
  • Strong communication skills in English (oral and written).
  • Appropriate CSCS card type and level.
  • London Underground project previous experience (desirable).
  • Tunnelling project previous experience (desirable).
