Temporary Works Manager

Ardmore Group is seeking a skilled Temporary Works Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all temporary works, including scaffolding, are designed, installed, and maintained in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of all aspects of Temporary Works, including scaffolding and falsework.
  • Coordination and management of site engineers for the projects.
  • Liaising with Package Managers, Project Managers, Engineers, Foremen, and Temporary Works Coordinators to ensure Temporary Works are identified and planned sufficiently far in advance.
  • Driving improvement in both the planning and undertaking of Temporary Works through targeted initiatives.
  • Undertaking audits, reviews, and targeted inspections of Temporary Works erection to ensure they are being carried out in accordance with project standards and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) qualification.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in temporary works design.
  • Members of industry bodies.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
