Compensation and Benefits:

As a Warehouse First Line Manager at GXO Logistics, Inc., you will be rewarded with a competitive salary of up to £29,000 per annum, plus a 15% night shift allowance. You will also receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse First Line Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, motivating, and developing your team to achieve challenging targets and ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse.
  • Ensuring effective resource planning to optimize resource and efficiency.
  • Striving to maintain a safe working environment by accurately identifying risks and escalating findings, while ensuring all operational processes are fully compliant with company policies.
  • Effectively communicating with stakeholders to understand customer and company requirements, incorporating them into planning and reporting tools, activities, and projects.
Requirements:

To succeed as a Warehouse First Line Manager at GXO Logistics, Inc., you will need:

  • A proven track record at team leader level within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • The ability to effectively lead, develop, and manage a team, identifying areas for development and recognizing success.
  • Excellent people skills, as our people are the backbone of our operations.
  • The ability to investigate and report findings, engaging with all levels within the site.
