We are seeking a talented Communications and Marketing Executive to join our team at a prestigious education institution in North Surrey. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of our marketing strategy, including a multi-channel communications plan and parent engagement programmes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the marketing strategy across the establishment, including the development and implementation of a multi-channel communications plan and parent engagement programmes.
  • Engage with the entire community to capture and communicate school life, including the development of a brand identity toolkit and the administration of social media activity.
  • Provide content, style management, and design for all school marketing materials, including the website and online channels.
  • Manage online presence, ensuring social media content ignites advocacy and positive conversation.
  • Support the Events strategy for the school, including the planning and execution of creative and engaging experiences for prospective families and stakeholders.
  • Administer internal communications within the school, including the development of an internal communications strategy and the management of key internal channels.
Person Specification
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the flexibility to think on your feet.
  • Ability to work accurately with excellent attention to detail to meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Literacy skills to prepare correspondence to a consistently high standard.
  • Absolute discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills at all levels.
  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • A proactive approach to work, with integrity and the drive to do what is best for the students and the school.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years related experience in a marketing role.
  • Good IT skills, with knowledge of relevant software applications, including MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and database skills.
  • A willingness to learn new skills and evidence of taking ownership of continued professional development.
Desirable
  • Knowledge of software packages, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and WordPress.
  • Experience of using other web editing tools, CRM, and email marketing platforms, and SEO management.
  • Experience of working in an independent educational establishment or school.
