Senior Care Lead

As a Senior Care Lead at Care UK, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest possible standard of care for our residents. You will lead the care team during your allocated span of duty, maintaining the personal care of residents according to individual needs and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the care, welfare, and safety of all residents in the care home are of the highest standard, adhering to statutory regulations.
- Institute individualized care plans, updating existing plans as necessary.
- Administer and record medication prescribed by medical practitioners, ensuring safe and accurate handling.
- Liaise with visiting medical professionals, recording outcomes and ensuring prescribed treatment is carried out.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents, promoting a stimulating and attractive living space.
- Protect patients' property and ensure confidential information is safeguarded.
- Support the welfare, morale, and safety of all care personnel in the home.
- Participate in staff training and orientation programs, promoting new care concepts and best practices.
- Attend training programs and courses to maintain knowledge and skills.
- Seek advice from the Home Manager and Deputy Manager on policy and procedure.
- Project the Company's image by promoting a professional appearance and manner among all home team members.
- Maintain efficient control and use of contract, bank, and agency staff, ensuring staffing levels align with Company policy.
- Investigate complaints or accidents involving residents and/or staff.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements in record keeping, documentation, time, health, and safety, and security as detailed in the Company's policies.
