Academic Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our primary school in Smethwick as an Intervention Teaching Assistant (KS2) on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities- Support KS2 students in small groups and 1:1 settings, promoting learning in core subjects.
- Implement targeted intervention strategies to help students overcome learning barriers.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop personalized learning plans, tracking student progress.
- Pursue a part-time role allowing for work-life balance.

- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role, preferably within KS2.

- Hold an enhanced DBS check (or be willing to undergo one).
Estimated Salary: £20-£25 per hour, based on location and experience.
