The successful candidate will have a degree in History or a related subject and proven experience of teaching History in a secondary school setting. They will possess strong subject knowledge, a passion for history, and a commitment to promoting the welfare and development of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver effective and engaging history lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and analysis of historical events and trends.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
• Contribute to the development of the history curriculum and resources.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in school-wide initiatives.

Salary Details:

We offer a competitive salary, dependent on experience, which is estimated to be around £35,000-£55,000 per annum.
