About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our County Local Mental Health Teams (LMHT) in Nottinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity to develop skills and expertise in working with patients and their families to support personalized care plans and provide specialist interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of patients living in the community, providing initial assessments and one-to-one interventions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, utilizing specialist skills and knowledge to maintain professional competence and fitness to practice as a nurse.
  • Establish and maintain robust communication networks with clients, carers, team members, and other healthcare and social care workers.
  • Use interpersonal skills to diffuse potentially emotive situations while undertaking assessments and pathway planning.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualification (Mental Health) to degree level or equivalent.
  • Maintains current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Further specialist knowledge or post-registration experience in specific service areas or other formal training.
