Senior Mental Health Specialist
Smartcall Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients.
- Diagnose and treat mental illnesses and disorders.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Prescribe and monitor medications.
- Provide therapy and counselling to patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements:
- Valid GMC registration.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Evidence of post-registration experience.
- Excellent knowledge of the Mental Health Act & Code of Practice.
- Previous experience as a consultant.
- CCST/CCT or equivalent in the relevant areas of psychiatry.
- Previous experience at consultant level within the NHS.
- Ability to conduct training.
