As the Loading Bay Manager at Sea Containers London, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods and services in and out of our hotel. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day operation of the loading bay area, coordinating deliveries, and supervising a team of loading bay assistants to maintain exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the loading bay area, including scheduling and coordinating deliveries, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Supervise loading bay staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Inspect deliveries to verify accuracy and quality, and ensure goods are properly stored and distributed to the relevant departments.
  • Monitor inventory levels of supplies and equipment, collaborating with the procurement team to order necessary items in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, including tracking documentation, invoices, and receipts.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to facilitate the smooth flow of goods and services and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and security protocols to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
  • Assist the Executive Chef and Finance Team in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity in the loading bay area.
