Job Title: L2 Production Support Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled L2 Production Support Executive to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing technical support for various Unix/Windows, client server and web-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acknowledge and resolve issues reported by business users within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Proactively monitor systems to identify potential issues and report to the development team for permanent fixes.
  • Provide application monitoring and reporting to business users or internal audit teams as required.
  • Suggest automation of recurring issues and manual tasks to improve overall service delivery.
  • Drive strategic focus areas such as automation, transformation, and manual task reduction to improve application resilience.
  • Participate in disaster recovery tests and drills as scheduled.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in UNIX and SQL.
  • Knowledge of technologies such as Java, Microsoft, and Oracle.
  • Knowledge of scheduling tools such as Autosys and Ab Initio Control Center.
  • Production support experience with ability to troubleshoot issues and provide user support with minimal guidance.
  • Debugging and scenario-level fixes for issues in banking functions domain.
  • Common ITIL lifecycle knowledge, including incident, service, and change management.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
