Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in a welcoming Primary School in Fulham. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to access the curriculum and engage in learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of SEND, helping them to access the curriculum and engage in learning.
  • Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and interventions, promoting academic and personal development.
  • Support students with communication, social skills, and emotional regulation to enhance their school experience.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student's individual needs.
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field, with a strong interest in working with children with SEND.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning and development.
  • A desire to gain experience in an educational setting, with a long-term interest in SEND or educational psychology.
